This is probably not true, since WebServiceTarget is 20 years old (and uses legacy API and doesn't support batching):

Would be great if maybe this project could be "transferred" to the NLog umbrella... I find it useful, but it "feels" unmaintained now (especially looking at that README comment)

Not like there is an army of developers sitting ready under the NLog umbrella.

Have now created my suggestion for a HttpClient Target:

• HttpClientTarget - HttpClient with support for batching NLog/NLog.Targets.Network#20

Heavily inspired by my own pull-request that was rejected: #47

One can download pre-release nuget-package. Save to local-folder and rename the downloaded file from .zip to .nupkg. Setup local nuget-source from the local-folder.

It is heavily inspired from "NLog.Targets.HTTP", so it should be okay easy to make a test-drive.

The package is currently available as a prerelease/preview. Feedback and suggestions are welcome.
