First: thank you! :) I am glad I found this, as a project like this will surely become more even more important with time.
With V6.4 Logitech will remove support for the Razer Stream Controller completely. But even before that, they messed up with a preliminary update of Options+ and PluginServices. They are integrating Options+ and Loupedeck more closely, adding the plugins from LD to Options+ to use with other devices. Just: they broke Loupedeck at least for the Razer, maybe even for Loupedeck devices. I had to roll back to a restore point, as there is no access to even slightly older version from Logitech, then quickly uninstall Options+ (as it would not start, I could not disable updates in the app). My Logitech Trackball now I need to configure with alternative software. They created a state where: Loupedeck worked, but Options+ did not (at least after a restore), or Options+ got all the "fancy new bling" and Loupedeck was dead. This was the update of 6.3.1 from 6.3.0 of plugin services, Loupedeck still at 6.3 as well.
My point is: Logitech did not buy Loupedeck to create a better experience for the users, but to further its own interests only. Who knows when the Loupedeck devices will get under the wheel as well.
At that point, the devices would be bricks - were it not for projects like this. Better to get started now and get some plugins built as well, then to have to start from scratch when Logitech abandons the devices. (For which there truly is not even a close replacement on the market).
