On the georeferencing page, you can view "Key Map" or "Main Layers" or "None." But you can't view both key map and main layers, like in the Mosaic Preview.

The first step in georeferencing a page is usually to locate it on the key map. When you've already georeferenced 50+% of the pages, it's a lot easier to locate that page when you can see which ones you've already finished. (See images below.)
Describe alternatives you've considered
Spend more time hunting for the number, or "pre-locate" it on the summary page first.
