Whiteboard canvas: Missing background grids on download & localStorage size limit issue

When downloading files from the whiteboard canvas:
The background grids are not appearing in the exported/downloaded file.

Also, the storage size of the canvas is not being limited, which causes problems since we rely on localStorage.
