Unable to find or install Tilt extension in Cursor

Hi,

I’m trying to use the Tilt VS Code extension in Cursor (VS Code–based editor), but I’m unable to find it in the extensions marketplace.

When I search for “Tilt” in Cursor’s Extensions view, the extension does not appear, so I’m unable to install it. I’m not sure whether this is a publishing/marketplace limitation or if there’s a compatibility requirement I’m missing.

Could you please clarify:

Is the Tilt extension expected to be available in Cursor?

If not, is there a recommended way to install it manually (e.g., via VSIX)?

Are there any known compatibility issues with Cursor?

Happy to provide additional details (Cursor version, logs, etc.) if needed.

Hi! We haven't released anything specifically for Cursor. I am not a Cursor user so I'm not aware of compatibility issues. Could you try installing the extension in VS Code and seeing if Cursor will import it from VS Code?

Hi, importing from vs code requires overriding all my existing settings in cursor so Im trying to avoid that.
it seems that your extension is not visible in the cursor extension marketplace... compiling your extension and installing it locally did work as expected.

Cursor and CO ( I use antigravity by google ) often use Open-vsx
I think you just need to deploy your extention over there as well.
