Note
Medium Risk
axios is used widely for external API calls; 1.16 changes redirect, proxy, auth-in-URL, and fetch adapter limit behavior, so regressions in integrations are possible despite no app code changes.
Overview
Upgrades axios across the pnpm workspace to 1.16.x, mainly by refreshing
pnpm-lock.yamlso many services/libs that already depended on axios via^1.6.8/^1.8.x/^1.11.0resolve to 1.16.0 (and 1.16.1 where transitive). The only direct manifest change in this diff is@crowd/common_services, which bumps its declared range from^1.13.1to^1.16.0.The lockfile also deduplicates older axios minors (e.g. 1.6.8, 1.8.x, 1.11.0, 1.13.x) and pulls in axios’s updated transitive stack (
follow-redirects1.16.0,proxy-from-env2.1.0,form-data4.0.5, etc.). axios 1.16 includes security-adjacent HTTP/fetch behavior changes (redirect/header handling, fetchmaxBodyLength/maxContentLengthenforcement, URL auth decoding)—worth a quick smoke test on outbound HTTP from workers andcommon_services(GitHub/Octokit-related paths), even though application source is unchanged here.Reviewed by Cursor Bugbot for commit 3001ddf.
