I build small, sharp tools under Flight Unreached and contribute to open source where correctness matters: security, RF/SDR, accessibility, health tech.
| Project | What it does |
|---|---|
| unslop | Flags the AI tells in your writing before you send it. One Python file, no dependencies. Ships a pre-commit hook, a GitHub Action, and reviewdog output. |
| hopandhaul | Finds when flying into a cheaper hub and taking the train beats flying direct. Click-the-map planner, 4,175-airport database, CO2e comparison, UI in 46 languages. |
| liftmath | Strength-training math with sources: six-formula 1RM consensus, volume landmarks, load charts, plate math. |
All three are MIT, pure standard-library Python, and open to contributors — each has good-first-issues waiting.
Merged so far: two fixes in rtl_433, screen-reader strings in OSARA, a Finnish validator message in Symfony. Around thirty more PRs open across NVDA, YARA, HackRF, OpenEMR, Orbot, OONI, Splunk, Elastic, MDN, and friends. Mostly correctness, security, and accessibility work: byte-order corruption in RFID dump files, an OAuth open-redirect in a medical records system, a flipped GPS hemisphere in a photo-evidence app.
