Please use two spaces for inter-sentence spacing. (I know we have an inconsistent mix, but I'd like new text to have two spaces.)

OK, changed to double spaces within my latest changes. You are right, the current inconsistent mix should be fixed. Once this PR has been merged, I will review the other files.

Sorry, I don't understand how to squash commits… See my new PR #1658, it contains all changes from the patch-0 branch. Please review again.

Sorry, I don't understand how to squash commits… See my new PR #1658, it contains all changes from the patch-0 branch. Please review again.

With git rebase -i (--interactive) you can do a lot of stuff with the history of commits, including squashing. Later you can use git push -f (--force) to push such a rewritten history.
