We've recently talked with the Translation Project to organize tranlations, and they requested us that we only take translations from them.

We have two options:

• You could join the Translation Project, and do the translation through them.
• We could ask the TP to mark this language as an exception so that they don't handle it. Then we could take it directly from you.

Do you have any preference?

Should be not needed to mark the Dutch translation as »external«. Frans (the submitter) is already member of the Dutch TP team.

In general, please be sparing in granting such exceptions. They don't make things any easier -- you end up receiving translations via two channels: pull requests and the Translation Project.

I already am a member of the Dutch Translatrion Project team. The translation of lilypond is assigned to me by the Project. So I can easily continue translating the shadow user interface via the Translation Project. So, practically speaking, would it be best for me to resubmit the updated translation for version 4.20.0-rc2 via the Translation Project? Kind regards, Frans Spiesschaert

Indeed, and as a side effect you make sure the translation is technically correct. You know, sometimes the TP Robot discovers things you wasn't aware of at all...
